I was born and raised in Oklahoma City where I attended arts integrated schools from elementary through high school. Graduating from Classen School of Advanced Studies in 2014 as an Art Major and recognized as Valedictorian. I then attended The University of Tulsa to pursue my BFA in Graphic Design with a minor in Art History and completing a certificate in Advertising as well. While attending TU, I was a member of the Women’s Rowing team from 2014 to 2016, parting ways with the team in the summer of 2016 to prioritize my studies, and I later graduated from TU in the Spring of 2018.

After graduating, I came back to Oklahoma City to start my career as a Graphic Designer. I began as an intern with the Oklahoma Center for Non-Profits, where I redesigned PowerPoint presentations and other materials as requested. Then continuing to my next position with QuikPrint of Oklahoma City, where I worked with customers to find printing solutions for their projects and design any materials they needed. This experience was a great opportunity to learn the details of the printing process, which I believe is important for any designer. I’m a firm believer that the print industry will never die!

After a year with QuikPrint, I sought new opportunities and joined the Oklahoma Lottery’s Marketing team. I began first as a Junior Graphic Designer and then was promoted to Graphic Designer. At the Lottery my major responsibilities were designing Scratchers and the promotional content for those scratchers. I also designed social media posts, campaigns for promotions, Point-Of-Sale posters, web content, and much more. A fun fact about the Oklahoma Lottery is that they are 1 of 2 lotteries with in-house graphic designers that create their own Scratchers! A handful of my Scratcher designs have been picked up by multiple other lotteries across the US including; California, South Dakota, Georgia, North Carolina, Ohio, and more!

Currently, I am working in the Marketing department at Oklahoma City Community College. At OCCC I work with different departments across the school and help them with any of their marketing and design needs. Any task thrown my way I take and run with it to the best of my abilities. During my time here I have done project management, social media management, vendor relations, mass email communications, and other miscellaneous tasks needed from me. I work closely with the in-house print shop for the school’s printing needs and help my clients with printing solutions.

I have also accepted freelance projects throughout my budding career. I am always open to new projects and opportunities to help other developing professionals, small businesses, and non-profits.
